No. 17 Mizzou softball sweeps home tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou softball team remained undefeated throughout the team's, home opening, weekend tournament.

The Tigers finished the weekend with a 10-2 win over Drake on Sunday.

The tournament was originally set to end with a game between Iowa State and Mizzou, however, due to deteriorating field and weather conditions, team officials decided to cancel the match up.

Next up - The Tigers will face North Dakota State on Wednesday, March 17 before heading into conference play next weekend.
