Weather Alert Day – Tracking strong storms tonight

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny skies will continue for much of this afternoon with storm chances increasing through the evening hours. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s with feels like temperatures near 95*. For all the severe weather timing and impacts for the Weather Alert Day head over to the Insider Blog.

TONIGHT: Storms will be ongoing and likely stick around through the overnight hours as lows fall into the upper 60's. Strong winds, small hail and road flooding could be possible.

EXTENDED: Any lingering rain chances look to wrap up by the later morning hours Thursday. With clouds playing a role into the early afternoon, temperatures could be a touch cooler, in the mid to upper 80's. Storm chances don't completely disappear Friday. Any storms that do redevelop would be toward the afternoon with highs reaching the upper 80's. It's still looking hot and humid into this weekend, but dry, with highs nearing 90.
