70-year-old man dies in Miller County motorcycle crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 70-year-old man from Bowie, Texas, died in a motorcycle crash Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 10:24 p.m. on Missouri Route 242 and the U.S. 54 Connector.

The man was heading westbound on a 2023 Harley-Davidson Sportster when he drove off the road, hit a curb and drove down an embankment. The man was then thrown from the motorcycle. He was later pronounced dead on scene at around 11 p.m. The man was wearing a helmet.

Next of kin have been notified. This is Troop F's fifth deadly crash for September and the 47th deadly crash in 2026.
