Tracking more sunshine, with storm chances starting Wednesday

TODAY: More sunshine and warm temperatures today, the high looks to approach 85 amongst a few light clouds. It'll be a great evening to get outside.

TOMORROW: Another great day is in store tomorrow, albeit a bit warmer. High temps climb to the upper 80s, maybe even the lower 90s in some spots. Mostly sunny skies are expected once again.

EXTENDED: Rain chances increase starting Wednesday, continuing into Friday. A cold front advances into mid-Missouri early Wednesday and remains relatively stationary into Friday afternoon. This will cool temperatures a touch and allow for the development of showers along its leading edge. Not everyone will receive rain on any given day, but much of the viewing area should expect a shower or two in the Wednesday thru Friday window. Wednesday evening into Thursday continues to be the best chance for heavier rainfall and even some rumbles of thunder. Luckily, rain clears out Friday afternoon, and we're in store for a warm, but dry weekend.
