Tracking another hot afternoon before seasonable weather arrives

TODAY: I'm tracking a mild start to the day with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50s. Sunshine and southwesterly winds at 5-10 mph will help temperatures once again get into the upper 80s and low 90s for some this afternoon.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a gradual increase in clouds overnight as winds pick up from the southwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. These continued southerly winds will only allow for temperatures to drop into the low 60s by the end of the night.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking partly cloudy sky conditions and breezy southerly winds at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, leading to temperatures getting into the upper 70s by noon on Sunday. These winds will shift into the north during the afternoon hours because of a cold front moving through the area. Although no precipitation is expected with this front, an increase in cloud cover will be present as temperatures quickly begin to drop throughout Sunday evening. By Monday morning, temperatures can be expected to start in the upper 30s, warming into the upper 50s by the afternoon hours. Another warmup is expected Tuesday-Thursday, getting into the 60s and 70s each afternoon. Mostly dry and partly cloudy conditions will be expected up until Thursday, where another front will move through, bringing chances of precipitation, leading to another cooldown on Friday.
