Tracking mild temperatures and sunshine through the start of the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a sprinkle or two. Lows in the lower to mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and mild with highs in the low to mid-70s.

EXTENDED: A weak disturbance moving in from the northwest tonight will bring additional clouds to Mid-Missouri along with a wind shift back to the north, but temperatures tomorrow still reach the 70s with ample sunshine. Strong upper high pressure out to our west will push temperatures to near the 80 degree mark on Friday, with even warmer weather expected on Saturday. The next few days will feature mostly sunny skies, but another front moves in from the north on Sunday, pulling temperatures down gradually through the day. We manage to make it to near 70 by late morning before temperatures begin falling. We'll cool back to the 50s on Monday with seasonable temperatures for much of next week.
