Tracking fire danger with breezy conditions today
TODAY: Temperatures warm to the mid to upper 60s with continued sunshine. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for almost the entire state due to low humidity, dry vegetation, and most notably, gusty southwest winds above 25 mph.
TONIGHT: A dry front exits the area early overnight and temperatures drop near or below freezing as skies remain clear.
EXTENDED: The weekend is cooler behind a dry front with highs back in the 40s on Saturday and the feels-like near the teens on Sunday morning. A quick rebound is expected as temperatures climb back to 50 on Sunday and continue warming through rain chances early next week. Showers will first move in on Monday but better chances for rain and thunderstorms will fall on Tuesday, followed by another setback in temperatures.
