TODAY: Wednesday is an ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day, as measurable snow will impact travel conditions across the region. Snow will fall through the day, with highs near but just below freezing for many by the afternoon. Winds will be from the northeast through the morning, shifting to northwesterly by the afternoon. Speeds will range from 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Snow will end by the evening hours, leaving us cold and dry overnight. Clouds will exit by Thursday morning for most, leaving us with temperatures near the single digits.

EXTENDED: Thursday is sunny and cold with a high forecast near 25. A notable warm up comes Friday, when we reach upper 30s after a start in the low teens. Saturday will be mild as well, but this warmup comes with another chance at precipitation. This time, it appears that we'll have mostly rain, but we'll also be monitoring a chance for snow as the system leaves, and cold air returns on it's heels. From there, a cool down has us cold on Sunday and Monday, to kick off next week.
