Tracking a late week rain chance

TODAY: Wednesday will be similarly warm compared to Tuesday. Sunshine and highs near 50 are expected today.

TONIGHT: Temperatures remain near 30 overnight.

EXTENDED: Rain showers move in after midnight. Over the course of Thursday, rain overspreads the region, keeping highs in the 40s. Rain will start to taper off on Friday, leaving us dry by Friday night after a half inch to an inch of rain for most. The weekend looks dry, with temperatures near 50 on Saturday, and in the upper 50s to near 60 on Sunday. Cooler air arrives next week.
