Tracking above freezing temperatures this weekend

TODAY: Partly sunny with a slight warmup into the mid-30s. Winds will be fairly light out of the southwest between 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Flurries possible under cloudy skies, accumulations will be very light. Highs reach the mid-30s in the early afternoon.

EXTENDED: Temperatures drop significantly to start off next week with highs into the lower 20s and lows near the single digits through Tuesday. Another shot of flurries is also possible in this cold sometime late Monday or early Tuesday. Gradual improvement is expected late week with highs reaching the 40s by Friday; this will only be brief as an active pattern picks up next weekend and brings back more cold.
