Tracking snow showers tonight into tomorrow morning

TONIGHT: Cloudy with snow showers moving in after sunset and continuing overnight. Lows in the mid-upper 20s. Snow accumulation between 1-3".

TOMORROW: Snow showers exiting east by midday. Temperatures fall through the upper 20s through the day as winds shift back northwest.

EXTENDED: Low pressure moving across the deep south the next 24 hours will send precipitation our way tonight, with snow showers approaching the Lake area after 7:00 p.m. Snow will spread north and stick around through most of the night, leaving anywhere from 1-3" of accumulation. Locations along I-44 and near the Lake could end up with 4" in some spots through midday Friday. Clouds stick around Friday behind the cold front, but temperatures will fall into the mid-upper 20s by early evening. Colder air settles in by Saturday morning with lows in the teens, but we'll be more "mild" over the weekend with highs in the low to mid-30s. A few flurries are possible on Sunday with a weak disturbance. Behind that system, colder air moves in to start off next week as lows fall into the teens with highs in the 20s Monday and Tuesday. Most of the week stays dry until another low pressure system approaches late in the week.
