17-year-old girl seriously injured in Morgan County crash

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 17-year-old girl from Stover suffered serious injuries Monday in a crash on Route WW, about a mile south of Route T in Morgan County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the crash occurred when a 2003 Nissan Xterra was heading southbound when it went off the right side of the road. The girl overcorrected and the vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit a tree, the report says.

The girl was not wearing a seatbelt, the report says. She was brought to Lake Region Hospital by ambulance.
