Two injured after motorcycle crash in Boone County Saturday

Two people were seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Boone County Saturday afternoon.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Dennis Lincoln, 71, of St. Joseph, was riding Eastbound along Route O, 1100 feet east of Hancock Hill Road at 4 p.m. The crash occurred when the motorcycle went off the side of the road and hit the ground.

The motorcycle went airborne and flipped over, according to the report.

Lincoln was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The report also states Peggy Tyler, 67, of St. Joseph was on the motorcycle during the crash and was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
