Man seriously injured in Osage County crash

OSAGE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Florissant man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday on Route P in Osage County, east of FBF Lane, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states a 2017 Isuzu NPR HD – driven by Gary Kemp, 34 – was heading eastbound when it went off the right side of the road.

The report states that Kemp overcorrected and the truck came back to the roadway. The truck then went off the left side of the road, overturned and ejected Kemp, the report states.

The vehicle continued to overturn, hit trees and a fence and stopped on its top in a field, the report says.

The report says that Kemp was not wearing a seatbelt. He was brought to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance, the report says.

The truck was totaled.
