A man who was found guilty of first-degree rape last month was sentenced on Tuesday to 28 years in prison.

William Aaron Thomas Jr., 50, must serve at least 85% of the sentence, according to Casenet. He is currently listed on the Boone County Jail roster. His address was listed as Columbia on Casenet, but it was listed as Fulton on the Jail's website.

Thomas was found guilty last month of raping a disabled girl in 2017. On Sept. 22, the mother was found guilty of second-degree child sex trafficking, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, child abuse and first-degree accessory to rape. The mother was sentenced to 64 years in prison on Dec. 7.
