Two people who are accused of being connected to a shooting at McClung Park in October have had additional charges filed and one charge was upgraded.

Four people were charged in a shooting that injured two, according to previous reporting.  One of the injured people -- Dayjuan L. Crossland -- was accused of pulling a gun and firing during an argument at a party with about 100 people at McClung Park. Police found at three least calibers of ammunition at the park.

Denise Ann Word, of Jefferson City, has now been charged with accessory to first-degree assault, accessory to aiding or abetting a shooting and armed criminal action.

She was initially charged with accessory to second-degree assault. An arraignment is set for 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Cole County Circuit Court.

Raymond D. White-Murry, of Holts Summit, has now been charged with aiding or abetting a shooting and armed criminal action. He was previously just charged with aiding or abetting a shooting.

An arraignment is set for 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the Cole County Circuit Court.

Laquan L. Boose was also charged last month with four felonies: Accessory to first-degree assault, accessory to unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and accessory to resisting arrest, according to court records.

Police were called to the park after dispatchers received multiple reports of gunshots. Officers found a party with about 100 people, according to a probable cause statement. They also found casings from three different calibers of bullets, indicating multiple shooters.

Word and White-Murry are accused of helping Crossland.
