Tracking clear skies and warmer temps

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and warm, with highs reaching the upper 70s.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear, with cool temperatures in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Mild weather continues through the weekend, with highs again in the upper 70s on Friday. Temperatures drop into the 60s Friday evening for high school football games, so bring a jacket. Highs climb near 80 this weekend with more sunshine, and we stay warm in the upper 70s through early next week. A weak cold front will move through the area sometime around Tuesday, bringing a slight cooldown and limited rain chances.
