Man pleads guilty in connection with 2018 Columbia rape case

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who was an Air Force member pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Boone County to a domestic assault charge after being accused of rape in 2018.

Nathan Repka pleaded guilty to second-degree domestic assault, a felony, and was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. He will be placed on five years of probation. .

He was in the Boone County Jail on Tuesday afternoon.

According to previous reporting, Repka was stationed at Wright Air Force Base in Ohio and visited the victim in Columbia in 2018. The two went to a party, where Repka became “blackout drunk” and then left the party and went to a room with the victim.

According to the report, Repka allegedly sexually assaulted the victim sometime after an argument.
