Rollover crash blocks part of busy Columbia intersection

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A rollover crash briefly blocked a busy central Columbia intersection at about noon Tuesday.

The crash happened just before noon at Providence Road and Worley Street. Boone County emergency dispatchers asked drivers to avoid the area in a public alert.

An ABC 17 News reporter saw a blue vehicle that had rolled onto its side. First responders were rolling the vehicle back onto its wheels at about 12:15 p.m.

Information about how the crash happened and whether anyone was injured was not immediately available. The road was wet from a steady, light rain.
