Tracking a seasonable, bright weekend

TONIGHT: Becoming mostly clear and cold with lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny to start with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s.

EXTENDED:  We're tracking a disturbance that is trying to bring a few showers to areas north of I-70, but we have such dry air in place that not much of it is making it to the ground. The best chance for a sprinkle or two will be for the northern half of the area, but clouds clear out late tonight, and winds die down after sunset. Macon and Monroe counties are in a Frost Advisory through tomorrow morning, and farther south we'll dip into the upper 30s by daybreak. Saturday and Sunday are looking nice with highs in the mid-60s. Sunday morning will be a bit warmer with clouds rolling in, but we'll need to prepare for a hard freeze next week. Monday morning starts off in the mid-30s, but we only make it to about 50 for a high.  Monday and Tuesday nights we'll dip below 30 degrees, ending the growing season for many around Mid-Missouri. We get back into the 60s with continued dry weather Thursday and Friday, and it's looking beautiful next Saturday for Mizzou homecoming with highs in the 70s.
