Two drivers were extricated and transported to area hospitals after a head-on collision in Prathersville Saturday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol shut down part of Highway VV, north of Rangeline, while they worked to clear the accident. Troopers said they’re still working to determine what caused the accident.

Emergency crews in Columbia responded to an extrication accident on Scott Boulevard and Chapel Hill Saturday afternoon. The driver was out of the vehicle when the fire department arrived and was transported to the hospital for injuries.
