Highways around Columbia still hazardous before freezing chance

Highways and neighborhood streets in and around Columbia remain hazardous for drivers into Saturday night. According to MoDOT’s traveler map, several sections of roadways were either mostly cleared, partly covered or covered as of 9 p.m. Saturday. Callaway County deputies identify wanted homicide suspects

Deputies have identified two people wanted in a Callaway County homicide investigation. According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, Ruben Corales Cabrera, 33, and Emily Ricketts, 22, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, are charged with first-degree murder. Deputies said Cabrera is also charged with armed criminal action. Deputies said neither Cabrera nor Ricketts has been taken

Columbia police only responding to injury crashes

UPDATE: The Missouri State Highway Patrol said it worked hundreds of crashes in central Missouri on Friday.
