TOMORROW: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20s.

Wind chills will be below zero for a few hours before winds shift back to the southwest. Highs on Friday reach the mid-upper 20s with more sunshine as arctic high pressure shifts east. We get a brief warm up over the weekend as highs reach the upper 30s to low 40s. A disturbance sliding from the northwest Friday night into Saturday with more clouds expected to start the weekend. Moisture will be lacking, therefore precipitation isn't expected. Skies clear out into Sunday morning with highs reaching the mid-40s during the day. Monday will start off warm as we creep near 50 degrees before a chance of showers moves in for southern parts of the area by evening. A cold front moving through Monday night into Tuesday will bring cooler temperatures for the middle of the week as temperatures stay below freezing during the day. Another front toward the end of the week will reinforce this cooler air, leaving us below average for the last full week of January.
