Another round of storms expected tomorrow

THIS AFTERNOON: Sprinkles are possible near the Lake of the Ozarks this afternoon. Temperatures will hold in the upper 60s, clouds will hold strong for most of the region. A few peeks of sunshine are possible after 5pm.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies continue and temperatures rise overnight as a warm front lifts through. That front could spark off a couple storms before sunrise, especially north of I-70, but no severe weather is expected.

EXTENDED: We're expecting to be mostly dry out the door tomorrow morning, but storms will quickly increase after lunch time. It will also be fairly warm and muggy. Temperatures jump into the low 80s. As the storms increase into the afternoon, be on the lookout for frequent lightning, heavy rain, gusty winds and even pea-sized hail. Major, organized severe storms are not expected. Much drier and cooler air rolls in throughout the day Sunday, along with gusty winds. Next week looks comfortable temperature-wise and for the most part, dry.
