Tracking severe weather across mid-Missouri

MONDAY: Showers and storms have already started to push into Missouri, and we're tracking the likelihood that these storms hold together long enough to impact parts of the viewing area. Large hail seems to be the biggest threat, but gusty winds could accompany these storms too. Highs will make it into the middle 60's. For the latest details on this storm system, head over to the Insider Blog.

TONIGHT: This storm system will hold out over the area until late this evening, and lows will fall into the lower 50s.

EXTENDED: Some spotty showers may linger into our Tuesday morning, but conditions will dry out for the afternoon. A cooling trend is on the way this week with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s for most of the week. The middle part of our week will remain dry, but rain returns Thursday and Friday.
