Tracking fog and warmer temperatures Wednesday

TONIGHT: Clouds break up a bit with patchy fog developing. Lows in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Morning fog followed by decreasing clouds. Highs in the mid-upper 60s.

EXTENDED: Several waves of energy will ride along a front that will slide south and stall out over Mid-Missouri starting Thursday night. Temperatures will warm up Thursday and Friday into the low 70s, and ingredients for strong storms will be present both Thursday night and Friday. Once this front finally slides out of the area, rain and storms will go with it on Saturday. We could see up to an inch of rain with this next system depending on how efficient the thunderstorms are. Weekend temperatures will be warmer than this past Saturday and Sunday, with highs holding near 60 on both days. Next week is trending a bit less unsettled and temperatures are expected to be near average for the last few days of March.
