Tracking a much warmer weekend, soggy days next week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the low 30s.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the low 60s.

EXTENDED: The nice weather continues through Sunday as winds and clouds increase. Temperatures rise into the upper 60s to around 70 for highs. With gusty winds and low humidity, the potential for fire weather risk will go up on Sunday, so avoid any open burning. Rain chances increase Sunday night into Monday morning as energy slides through the jet stream from the southwest. About 1" of rain is possible through Monday night. We get a brief break on Tuesday before the active weather returns Wednesday. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible through Thursday, and potentially over the weekend. Temperatures will remain near or above average all week with highs in the mid-upper 50s to around 60 and lows in the 40s. No severe weather is expected at this time.
