Tracking a cold start to Thursday before a big weekend warmup

TONIGHT: Few flurries early, clearing up overnight. Lows falling into the upper teens to low 20s.

THURSDAY: Increasing clouds, chance of sprinkles or flurries late into the day through evening. Highs in the mid-40s.

EXTENDED: A clipper system will bring a chance for precipitation through early Friday, mainly in the form of scattered light rain as temperatures will be in the mid-40s during the day. We clear out heading into the weekend, and temperatures really ramp up as winds push in from the south into the upper 50s. Saturday has more sunshine over Sunday, with clouds arriving ahead of our next storm system that will bring rain and potentially a few thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday. Temperatures remain slightly above average in the low 50s early next week.
