Tracking a gradual warm up, rain for the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with light winds. Temperatures fall into the low to mid-teens.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and a little warmer. Highs in the low 40s.

EXTENDED: Winds pick up and sunshine returns on Saturday, helping to bring temperatures up even more during the day with highs approaching the mid-50s. Clouds build back in on Saturday night in advance of our next storm system that will bring rain on Sunday. Showers continue through the day and night, giving us about 1" of total rainfall. Rain could spill over into Monday morning, but we remain in the 40s through Tuesday. From there, the week remains active with several chances for precipitation and much cooler temperatures by Wednesday, potentially triggering our next chance for wintry weather.
