Tracking additional light snowfall through tonight

TONIGHT: Cloudy with light snow showers. Additional accumulation between 0.5" and 1". Lows in the low to mid-20s.

THURSDAY: Snow tapers off by or before sunrise, mostly cloudy. Highs in the low 30s.

EXTENDED: Temperatures remain cold for most of the week with snow covered ground. Highs will stay in the 30s through Saturday with lows in the 20s. A weak clipper system will slide to our north on Friday, increasing clouds and bringing a chance of a few flurries by late in the afternoon or evening. Saturday is dry with partly cloudy skies, with our next system brewing by early next week. We're tracking the potential for a similar storm system Monday into Tuesday, with slightly warmer temperatures in place. Right now, precipitation looks like mostly rain, with the possibility of a wintry mix Monday night into Tuesday. Temperatures remain near average or just cooler for next week.
