Tracking brief sunshine followed by a few showers Friday

TONIGHT: Clouds slowly decrease with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.

TOMORROW: Sunshine early, followed by increasing clouds through the afternoon. A few showers possible north of I-70 by evening. Highs near 50.

EXTENDED: We clear the clouds early Saturday, with more sunshine and highs getting close to 60 degrees. Another disturbance moves south of us on Sunday, bringing a chance for showers mainly along and south of I-44, so many of us end up dry but cooler with highs near 50 again on Sunday. Next week starts off with sunshine on Monday, with another cut off low pressure system sliding south of us on Tuesday, possibly bringing a brief chance of rain. The rest of the week looks mild with highs in the mid-upper 50s. Our next chance of rain looks to hold off until the end of next week.
