Tracking light rain this evening, more showers this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a few sprinkles possible through sunset. Lows fall to the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Scattered showers and a possible rumble of thunder. Mostly cloudy, with highs stuck in the upper 60s and low 70s.

EXTENDED: Rain chances continue into Sunday, but showers should be fairly light by the end of the weekend, coming to an end by Sunday evening. Rain totals could reach between a quarter and a half inch, with the highest totals mostly north of I-70. Drier weather is favored on Monday, allowing highs to climb back to the low 80s with more sunshine. However, rain will return between Tuesday and Thursday, and this round looks heavier, which should cool temperatures later next week.
