Rain today with storm chances tomorrow

MONDAY: Most of the showers have moved out of the area, but we could still see a few pop-up showers move through the area this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will warm into the 70s for the day, so if you can dodge those leftover showers, you're in for a great afternoon.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will hold on as temperatures drop into the mid 50s.

EXTENDED: A cold front will approach the area tomorrow that will move into warm, unstable air that is already in place. That will lead to storms by the afternoon which could be strong to severe. Large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado are all possible so stay weather alert tomorrow and have ways to receive warnings. For the latest details on timing and trends head over to the Stormtrack Insider Blog. Things will calm down as we move into Wednesday, but a few showers could still impact us. Temperatures for the end of the week will be comfortable in the 70s.
