Tracking clearer skies tonight, clouds returning tomorrow

TONIGHT: Decreasing clouds, with skies becoming mostly clear. Lows fall to the lower 40s with a steady breeze from the west.

TOMORROW: Mostly clear in the morning, with increasing clouds into the afternoon. Highs climb to the upper 50s

EXTENDED: Clouds roll back in quickly on Thursday as a cold front passes through, but no rain is expected in Mid-MO, and skies become partly clear again by early Friday as the front exits. We'll see even cooler temperatures this weekend, with highs in the low 50s on Friday and Saturday, and our first freeze is possible by Friday night as lows tumble to the low 30s. Lows again start out in the low 30s on Sunday morning, but a gradual warmup is expected next week with more sunshine and drier conditions. Highs reach the low 60s on Sunday, climbing to the upper 60s into the workweek.
