Tracking a cool evening for football, warm temps this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear, with temperatures falling into the 60s quickly after sunset. Lows fall to the low 50s.

TOMORROW: A few clouds, but mostly sunny and warmer in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather lasts through the weekend, with highs nearing 80 by Sunday despite some cloud cover over the area. We'll remain in the mid to upper 70s early next week as high pressure dominates the forecast, blocking rain chances to our north. A cold front may finally push through later next week, with increasing rain chances past Thursday. The pattern looks wetter by Halloween, but rain chances and temperatures are still largely uncertain next weekend.
