Tracking chilly temperatures tonight as rain exits

TONIGHT: Spotty showers continue through midnight, with rain chances decreasing as a cold front exits. Clouds clear by sunrise, with lows falling to the mid-40s. Expect strong winds from the northwest with gusts as high as 25 mph.

TOMORROW: Sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds midday, with a few sprinkles possible. Temperatures struggle to climb into the mid-50s amid a strong northerly breeze up to 30 mph.

EXTENDED: Pack away the rain gear and bring out the coat for the weekend, with much cooler temperatures in the forecast through Sunday. Lows will fall to the mid-30s by Saturday and Sunday mornings, bringing the first frost of the season. Cover plants or bring them indoors this weekend. Highs remain in the upper 50s to around 60 on Saturday, climbing to the upper 60s on Sunday with more sunshine. A gradual warmup continues into next week, pushing highs into the 70s on Monday and Tuesday, and possibly reaching the low 80s midweek.
