Tracking a mild end to the holiday weekend, humidity returning tomorrow

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with milder temperatures and lower humidity. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Hotter and more humid again, with highs in the upper 90s and a heat index above 100 degrees.

EXTENDED: Our break from the humidity won't last long, with a feels-like near 100 again on both Tuesday and Wednesday. However, a cold front will slowly move in on Wednesday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening, lasting through Thursday morning. Over an inch of rain is possible in some areas. Temperatures drop big time to the low 80s behind the front, but we may warm back to the upper 80s if we stay drier late in the week.
