Tracking quiet conditions midweek, rain chances before the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and mild, with lows falling to the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Sunny and hot, with a high around 90 degrees.

EXTENDED: Quiet weather continues through the middle of the week, but rain chances will return by Thursday as a front moves in from the north. Rain will be very scattered during the day, and the heat index will rise to the upper 90s. The front will slowly drop south through Thursday into Friday, bringing chances for storms Thursday evening and again on Friday. Rain chances may linger Saturday, but drier conditions are forecast into early next week.
