Tracking a few pop-ups today, quieter through midweek

THIS AFTERNOON: Scattered clouds, with a pop-up storm possible south of I-70 in the midafternoon. Highs in the mid-80s.

TONIGHT: Clouds mostly clear overnight, and temperatures fall to the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: Warm and dry weather lasts through midweek, with highs in the mid-80s through Wednesday. Our next wave will move in on Thursday, and scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible late Thursday through Friday night, with rain possibly lingering on Saturday. Up to a half-inch of rain is possible by the end of the week, and temperatures will warm to the upper 80s this weekend.
