Tracking light morning showers for Mother’s Day, summer-like weather next week

TONIGHT: Temperatures remain cool but comfortable tonight, dipping to the low 50s. A chance for a light shower is possible before midnight.

TOMORROW: Scattered showers expected through the early morning, but clearing out before the afternoon. Clouds will steadily decrease alongside temperatures in the mid 60s.

EXTENDED: Next week feels like summer, with nothing but blue sky and sunshine ahead. The region will see temperatures climb into the upper 70s and low 80s for the first half of the week, with the only chance for active weather coming Tuesday evening, where a stray shower is possible. The latter half of the week will see temperatures continuing to climb, potentially reaching the 90s for Friday into next weekend. Sunshine will be very prevalent, accompanied by some light clouds throughout the week.
