Tracking a mild night tonight, a chance for a few showers Mother’s Day weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly sunny skies this evening with temperatures dipping down to the mid-40s overnight.

TOMORROW: Clear skies with a few clouds, temps in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: Expect Friday to be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder in the afternoon, with temperatures hovering around the low-70s. Sunny skies for the start of Mother's Day weekend as temperatures remain more seasonal after a cooler week. A chance for some light rainfall does exist early Sunday as a cold front makes its way through the region overnight Saturday. Expect rain to clear early afternoon on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies taking its place. Sunshine makes a return next week, as sky conditions will remain relatively clear with a few clouds to start off the week. Temperatures also begin to climb once again, potentially reaching the low 80s by Tuesday.
