Tracking a cool start to the weekend, warmup by Sunday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly, with lows falling to the mid to upper 30s. Low-lying areas may see frost develop.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds from the northwest will be light at 5 to 10 mph.

EXTENDED: The weekend will start cool on Saturday, but temperatures will rebound to the 70s on Sunday with gusty southerly winds up to 25 mph. A few scattered showers and storms are possible Sunday night, but many will stay dry even through Monday, with highs again in the 70s. More storms are expected late Monday night or early Tuesday along a cold front, and we're monitoring the chance of a few strong storms. Scattered showers and storms will continue through Tuesday and early Wednesday, with up to 2 inches of rain possible. Drier and cooler weather will settle in through the end of the week, with highs in the 60s through Friday.
