Tracking cool mornings, mild afternoons, and plenty of sunshine

TODAY: I'm tracking a cooler start to the day with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, leading to isolated areas of frost. By the afternoon, continued sunshine paired with westerly winds at 5-10 mph will help temperatures warm into the upper 60s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a mostly clear evening as winds briefly shift into the north at 5-10 mph. By the end of the night, temperatures are expected to drop into the low 40s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another sunny day ahead to start the week as high pressure makes a return, leading to temperatures warming into the low 70s by Monday afternoon. Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be slightly warmer, with temperatures starting in the low 50s during the morning hours, warming into the upper 70s by the afternoon hours. Thursday will be even warmer, getting into the low 80s by the afternoon hours, but another potential for showers and storms arrives overnight into Friday morning. These showers and storm chances will continue throughout the majority of Friday, leading to a slightly cooler forecast and measurable rain totals. Even cooler weather is expected Saturday as temperatures only warm into the mid-60s, even as sunshine makes a return.
