Power outages reported in Morgan, Cooper counties

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The number of those without power started to rise again around 10:30 p.m.
Storms began entering the area earlier in the day, leading to a tornado watch being issued in the western part of our viewing area and a number of counties being put in a severe thunderstorm warning.
There were 475 Ameren customers without power in Cooper County.
The Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives' map showed 114 Co-Mo Electric Cooperative customers in Morgan County without power at 10:35 p.m. Another 46 customers from the same company had no reported power in Moniteau County.
There were nearly 300 Boone Electric Cooperative customers without power on Friday night.
Boone Electric showed five outages were affecting 283 customers around 9 p.m. Most of the outages were reported around the Hallsville area.
A cause and estimated time for restoration in the Boone County outages were not yet determined, according to Boone Electric. Though, most power was restored by 9:30 p.m. Three outages were affecting seven members at 9:36 p.m.
No outages have been reported for those living within Columbia city limits.
A handful of outages were sporadically reported around the rest of the area.
