Tracking a seasonable end to the year

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold, with temperatures dropping quickly to around freezing after sunset. Lows dip into the mid-20s. Winds from the west could gust up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon. Temperatures rise into the mid to upper 40s with a lighter breeze during the day.

EXTENDED: Grab a coat if you plan to ring in the new year on Wednesday night, with temperatures near or below freezing by midnight. We'll start January a few degrees colder as a cold front moves through early Thursday, but highs stay above freezing in the upper 30s. Dry, mostly sunny weather is expected over the weekend, with temperatures warming about ten degrees above average into the low 50s on Sunday.
