Tracking a cold start to the day and a noticeable warmup

TODAY: I'm tracking a sunny day ahead as temperatures start in the low teens and winds make it feel like it is in the single digits. Southwesterly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph will help warm temperatures up into the low 40s by the afternoon hours.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking winds calming to 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph as temperatures drop into the mid-20s by the end of the night. A mostly clear sky can be expected through the overnight hours.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another mild afternoon as temperatures warm into the low 50s on Tuesday afternoon. This warmer weather will last through Wednesday before chances of rain enter the area late Wednesday night. This rain will last through Thursday, and during the day, strong winds can be expected as gusts up to 35 mph are expected. Mostly dry weather is expected Friday through Sunday as temperatures vary from the mid-40s to the mid-50s.
