Tracking a dangerously cold night

TONIGHT: Temperatures quickly fall into the single digits tonight, with wind chills dropping below zero only a few hours after sunset. Clouds will steadily clear out behind a cold front.

TOMORROW: An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is in effect for Sunday morning for the threat of below-zero wind chills, with areas north of I-70 dropping as low as -10 to -15 degrees. Despite more sunshine, highs remain in the teens, with an afternoon wind chill in the positive single digits.

EXTENDED: The extreme cold doesn't last long, as temperatures warm into the low-40s by Monday, low-50s by Tuesday, and upper-50s by Wednesday. Dry weather can be expected Sunday through most of Wednesday before rain chances enter the forecast.
