Tracking a cooler end to the weekend

TODAY: Sunny and cool with a high near 60 degrees. Calmer winds from the north at 5-8 mph.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds, with highs in the upper 50s. Winds pick up from the south between 10 to 15 mph, gusting above 20 mph. A light shower is possible during the day, but most will be dry.

EXTENDED: Rain chances increase Monday night, with some rumbles of thunder possible as scattered showers and storms track through the area overnight. Tuesday will be drier but a little cloudy, and mild in the 60s. More rain is likely later in the week between Wednesday and Friday, with several inches of rain looking more likely in southern Missouri. Rain will keep temperatures much more seasonal this week in the 50s and 60s.
