Tracking cool trick-or-treating weather as clouds make a return

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds increasing through the evening hours, but it will stay dry for trick-or-treating hours. Light rain may be possible to the south of I-70 overnight as temperatures drop into the mid 30s by the end of the night and winds blow out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking a mostly cloudy day as temperatures warm into the upper 40s by the afternoon hours. Some light rain may be possible through the day as winds blow out of the northwest at 8-12 mph.

EXTENDED: Temperatures are expected to drop to or below freezing by Sunday morning, which is why a freeze watch is in place for the entire area starting Saturday night. Sunshine will return Sunday afternoon, but temperatures will still only warm into the low 50s. Sunshine is expected to persist for the majority of next week. This will allow for temperatures to warm into the mid 60s each afternoon before chances of clouds and rain make a return by the end of the week.
