Tracking a spring-like week ahead with very little chance at rain
TODAY: Tuesday will be sunny with variable winds. This combination will have us feeling less of that south wind, but thanks to bright skies, we should still make it to 60 across much of the region just as we did on Monday.
TONIGHT: Winds pick up from the southwest around the dinner hour, ahead of a trough of low pressure that rolls in overnight. This will bring more clouds and a chance for a few light showers. Nearly negligible amounts of rainfall will come from this, with expectations close to a hundredth of an inch or two at most. Not everyone will see rain. In fact, most won't as it's expected to be very spotty.
EXTENDED: The best chance of showers overnight will come for most after midnight and into the early morning hours on Wednesday. This chance for rain will end by the afternoon, when more sunshine will peek out from behind the clouds. Highs on Wednesday are slightly cooler, in the upper 50s. Sunshine and 50s are expected Thursday, ahead of a warmup into Friday, where we again reach 60s. This will be limited, however, as a dry front leaves us cooler for the weekend. Currently, low 50s are expected across the weekend.
